The Bill (Reg. No. 4839) was drafted to substitute the effective Law "On the Security Service of Ukraine" adopted in 1992.
The Committee members stressed that the Bill improved the legal principles of organization and activity of the Security Service of Ukraine for the sake of efficient protection of the citizens, society and the State from the foreign and domestic threats.
Regulations of the Bill also form the Security Service that is efficient, dynamic and flexible in governing, employs competent experts and is supplied with modern material and technical equipment.
